Also, on even-numbered years one is exactly twice as old as some other age. Especially around the mid thirties, this starts to feel impressive. I remember my late teens very well, and it's amazing to think that I've been alive as long after then as I had been alive at the time.

It makes me think about the next double year that's approaching. It's a more important one, and so I'm going to make sure that the next two years count.
