Knuckles Knew
"Life imitates art," according to Oscar Wilde, but in this case it might be more difficult to identify the chicken and the egg. For one thing, this conspiracy theory doesn't involve a chicken-and-egg pair, but an echidna and an egg. They lay eggs, too, as one is aware.
Ugandan Knuckles.
Proponents of life imitating art would argue that our real world is influenced by art much more than the other way around. I, for one, feel the need to tan after watching Love Island. But it is almost always the case that art imitates life, since artists have nothing but life from which to draw inspiration.
In this particular instance, I'm writing about a certain echidna who inhabits an island and is charged with protecting the Master Emerald. Yes, Knuckles the Echidna, of Sonic the Hedgehog fame, is the protagonist of today's conspiracy theory.
To be honest, though, I don't actually have a conspiracy theory about this one. All I have are coincidences. So I'll leave the evidence here for the reader's amusement.

Knuckles the Echidna is charged with protecting the Master Emerald, an emerald so powerful it can overpower the Chaos Emeralds.

I always thought it was just a funny meme, and the poor drawing made me laugh. I never understood why Uganda was involved, though. But that was before I learned about item #3.

In 2022, Uganda discovered $12 trillion dollars worth of gold deposits.
What does this mean?
Was Uganda Knuckles, the protector of the Master Emerald, the most powerful item in the world, trying to tell us something about Uganda all along?
Or is life imitating art, giving Ugandan Knuckles a real treasure to guard?
Which came first, the echidna or the egg?
We may never get the real answer.
But Knuckles knows. And he knew all along.
