Learning Blender
A year and a half ago, I started learning Blender. I created some decent beginner models -- 3D versions of my characters from Bad Blaster. Then I stopped for some reason, and this year I started making Robot Ops.
I'm now continuing Blender, and although I'm not starting from scratch, I'm starting from a pretty basic understanding. One thing that was difficult at first was remembering all of the keyboard shortcuts, without which Blender is 10x more difficult.
The good thing is that there are PLENTY of resohrces out there for learning Blender. The only downside to them is that the best ones are in video form, and I prefer reading. However, the videos are ideal for Blender, as Belender is a lot about actual "doing" things in realtime.
As I go forward, I have no excuses for not being able to make decent 3D models that are fully animated and able to be used in Unreal.
