Learning the Shortcuts: Lessons Learned from Games
This is the second in a series on "life lessons" I learned while playing Diablo 2 Resurrected. It's really just a simple one: learn the shortcuts. Learn the things that make everything you do just a little easier.
Not learning to type and wanting to write a book makes writing that much more difficult.
For example, if you have to type at work, learn to type. If you have to consult Stack Overflow every time you need to sort a javascript array, just take the time to learn the function.
These things make everything just that much easier to do.

This is a bit of a stretch to say it's a lesson, since it's so obvious. But, I learned something from it, since I know that in my life I would often take the attitude of "I'll handle it when I get there" even though I'm always there.
It's just a matter of optimizing whenever and wherever possible.
