The simplicity of Kirby games always appealed to me. He's a cheerful guy with an interesting range of abilities. The music is usually cute and highly energetic. 

The next game I'm making is going to be a 3D adventure game with a lot of platforming. This new Kirby game might be close to what I had in mind for mine, so I have an extra interest in it. This new Kirby game proves that the 3D action platformer genre is not dead, and I hope to get a lot of enjoyment out of it when it comes out.
