The Righteous Care for the Needs of Their Animals
One of the reasons I'm against vaccines is the animal trials scientists use in their development.
Proverbs 12
10 The righteous care for the needs of their animals,
but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.
Killing animals to develop vaccines doesn't qualify as "caring for the needs of...animals." I'm also against the animal trials used in other products, such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Likewise, I find modern farming to be cruel. Animals don't deserve to be locked up in cages shoulder to shoulder.
The way animals are treated needs to change. I'm not a vegetarian or an animal rights activist - I just see the abuse taking place and don't like it. If humans are somehow "better" than animals, then shouldn't we treat them in a manner that befits our status? The modern farming industry is torture, and scientific experimentation on animals is cruel and needless.
Humans are meant to care for animals - it's right there in the Bible.
